This Payment Policy explains how payments are taken when you buy from Lift Sets, operated by Lift Sets Ltd.
1. Definitions
- Seller: Lift Sets Ltd, the operator of this website.
- Buyer: any customer placing an order on liftsets.co.uk.
- Goods: all products available for sale on our website.
2. Payment terms
Card and wallet payments are taken in full when you place your order. If you choose Klarna Pay in 3, you repay Klarna in three instalments under Klarna's terms. Orders are processed and dispatched only after payment has been confirmed. We do not charge extra for any payment method.

We do not offer PayPal or Clearpay. Card and wallet payments are processed by Shopify Payments; Klarna payments are processed by Klarna. The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout before you pay.
Secure payments
All transactions are processed through encrypted, PCI DSS compliant payment gateways. We do not store card details on our servers.
If a payment is declined, delayed or flagged by your bank, your order may be paused until payment is confirmed.
3. Pricing and VAT
- All prices on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP).
- Prices include UK VAT at the applicable rate.
- Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Promotional discounts are applied at checkout where an order is eligible.
We reserve the right to update prices or correct errors. If a pricing error affects your order, we will contact you before dispatch.
4. Delivery charges
- Standard delivery is free to every address in Great Britain, including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, on every product, any weight, with no minimum spend and no code.
- Express delivery (Great Britain only) and deliveries to Northern Ireland are charged by order weight and shown at checkout before you pay.
- Order by 2pm Monday to Friday for same-working-day dispatch. Standard delivery arrives 2 to 5 working days after dispatch; express delivery 1 to 2 working days.

Delivery
What happens if my parcel is lost in transit?
If an order is lost or damaged in transit we arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any delivery charge you paid. Contact us with your order number if the tracking shows no movement for two working days or the parcel has not arrived by the end of the delivery window.
Does the delivery charge get refunded if my order arrives damaged?
Yes. If an order is lost or damaged during transit we arrange a replacement or a full refund including the delivery cost. On a change-of-mind return the original delivery charge is not refunded.
Are original delivery charges refunded on a return?
No, on a change-of-mind return the original delivery charge is non-refundable; the refund covers the returned goods and goes to your original payment method. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are different: the replacement or full refund includes any delivery cost.
Do you accept American Express?
Yes. American Express is accepted at checkout, along with Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners Club, Discover and UnionPay cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and Klarna.

Do you offer Klarna or pay in 3?
Klarna is offered at checkout on eligible orders. Payment options, schedule and eligibility are shown before you pay.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and Klarna are offered at checkout. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. There is no minimum order value. Klarna eligibility and the payment schedule are decided at checkout.
Can I pay with PayPal?
No. PayPal is not offered at checkout. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay or Klarna, in pounds sterling with VAT included.
Can I pay with Clearpay?
No. Clearpay is not offered. Klarna is the pay-later option at checkout on eligible orders, with the schedule and eligibility shown before you pay; cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay are also accepted.
Is Klarna interest free?
Klarna Pay in 3 is offered at checkout as interest-free instalments for customers aged 18 or over, subject to status and Klarna's terms; late fees may apply. Eligibility and the payment schedule are decided by Klarna at checkout and shown before you pay.
Can I pay with Shop Pay?
Yes. Shop Pay is accepted at checkout alongside Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT.
Can I pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Yes. Both Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted at checkout, along with major cards, Shop Pay and Klarna. All payments are processed through encrypted, PCI DSS compliant gateways and we do not store card details.
Do you offer finance or pay monthly?
Klarna Pay in 3 is the pay-later option offered at checkout on eligible orders, with eligibility and the schedule decided by Klarna before you pay. No other finance plan is listed on the site. Trade customers can send a trade enquiry and we will come back to them with a quote; payment is taken at checkout.
