Reviews policy

This policy explains how Lift Sets collects, publishes and moderates customer reviews. It applies to product reviews shown on this site (collected through Judge.me) and to reviews of our service on Trustpilot. Last reviewed 18 September 2026.

How we collect reviews

We send every customer an invitation to review their purchase. Invitations go out the same way to every customer, whatever they bought and whatever we think they might say. We do not choose who is asked, and we do not treat customers we expect to be happy any differently from customers who have had a problem.

Who can leave a review

  • Product reviews on this site are invited from customers who bought the product from us. Having bought is the test, not whether the order went smoothly. See how to leave a review.
  • Service reviews are collected on Trustpilot, which applies its own checks on who can review and how.

What we publish, and when a review can be removed

We do not suppress genuine reviews because they are negative. Reviews may be moderated or removed where reasonably necessary for authenticity, legality, privacy, abuse, spam, or platform-policy reasons. Removal for those reasons is the review platform's decision. A genuine one-star review stays up alongside the five-star ones.

Star ratings and review counts shown on this site are calculated by the review platform from every published review, not by us. They update when the platform updates them. We do not round up, re-order reviews to hide poor ones, or display a rating that leaves any published review out.

Incentives: none

We do not pay for reviews, and we do not offer discounts, gifts, free products, prize draws or any other reward in return for a review, a rating or a change to a review. Fake reviews, whether written by us, bought from a third party or written by anyone who is not a genuine customer, are prohibited and will be reported to the platform.

Moderation

We do not edit the text of a review. Where a review appears to breach the rules above, we report it to the platform and the platform decides. When we reply publicly to a review, we do so within two working days. A reply never changes the review or its rating.

Reviews and complaints are different things

A review is public feedback for other shoppers. A complaint is a request for us to put something right. If something is wrong with your order, contact us directly so we can sort it out under our returns policy and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Resolving a complaint does not affect your freedom to leave a review of any kind, positive or negative, at any time.

How to report a review

If you believe a review of our products or service is fake, misleading, abusive or breaches someone's privacy, email support@liftsets.co.uk with a link to the review and the reason. We will look into it and, where appropriate, report it to the platform. You can also report a review directly through the platform's own tools.
