PRODUCT OVERVIEW

This is the home gym variant of the squat stand: the same core function, specified around domestic ceiling heights and floor areas rather than commercial ones. If you have measured your garage or spare room and concluded a power rack will not fit, this is the category that makes barbell squatting and pressing possible anyway.

The honest limitation of any independent stand applies: the spotter arms (adjustable 65–95cm) give a catch point for the bar, but this is not a full four-post cage. This is manageable with sensible programming, keeping repetitions in reserve on heavy sets, but it is a real constraint that should shape how you train rather than something to discover mid-set.

TRAINING APPLICATION

Set the hooks slightly below shoulder height for squats so you step under and lift out rather than reaching up on tiptoes. For bench press, position them so the bar sits within an easy arm's reach from the lying position, which keeps the unrack short and controlled. Overhead press, rack pulls and pin work are all possible with the height adjusted accordingly.

How is this different from a power rack?

A power rack is a four-post cage with full-length safety bars. This is two independent uprights with spotter arms: far smaller, movable, and cheaper, but not an enclosed cage. Compare the stated heights and footprints against your space before choosing.

Can I use it for bench press safely?

With care. Set the spotter arms just below your chest height, leave repetitions in reserve on heavy sets, or train with a spotter.

What height ceiling do I need?

Enough to stand with the bar racked plus clearance for overhead work if you plan to press. Measure before ordering.

Does it come with a bench?

No. A bench is a separate purchase and is required for bench pressing.
