Description

The tri-leg base exists to solve one problem: foot placement. A conventional bench puts a leg exactly where your foot needs to go for a proper arch and leg drive. A three-point base clears that space, which is why competitive powerlifters use this design.

KEY FEATURES

  • Three-point base leaves foot placement completely clear
  • Flat, incline and decline adjustment (FID)
  • 1300lbs load rating for heavy commercial use
  • Heavy gauge frame with commercial-grade welds
  • Dense upholstery that resists long-term compression
  • Built for serious pressing and light commercial floors

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Leg drive is a real component of a heavy bench press. Driving through the floor stabilises the torso and transfers force through the arch into the bar, and it requires planting your feet where they naturally fall, which on most benches is exactly where a front leg sits. The tri-leg design moves the supports out of that zone, and it is the reason this configuration dominates in powerlifting settings.

A 1300lbs rating, roughly 590kg, indicates commercial construction rather than a domestic frame with an optimistic number on it. That means heavier tube, better welds and denser padding. The trade-off is weight and a fixed footprint, since a bench built this solidly is not something you fold up and put in a cupboard.

TRAINING APPLICATION

FID adjustment covers flat pressing, the full incline range for upper chest work, and decline pressing. Combined with the stable base, this suits heavy barbell benching inside a rack, heavy dumbbell pressing, and any work where a wobbling bench would undermine your ability to press hard. Stability is not a comfort feature here, it directly affects how much force you can produce.

HOW TO CHOOSE?

Choose the tri-leg commercial bench if you press heavy, train in a shared or commercial space, or simply want the most stable platform available. Choose a folding home bench if space must be reclaimed between sessions. Pair it with a power rack for safe heavy benching, since the bench provides no uprights of its own.

FAQs

What does tri-leg mean?

The bench uses a three-point base rather than four legs, which clears the area where your feet plant during a bench press and allows proper leg drive.

What does FID stand for?

Flat, Incline, Decline. It describes a bench whose backrest adjusts across all three positions.

Is 1300lbs a real capacity?

It is the stated combined rating, roughly 590kg, reflecting commercial-grade construction. Stay within it and check fixings periodically.

Does it fold for storage?

No. Commercial benches of this construction are heavy and fixed. Choose a folding home bench if storage is a priority.

Features

Key Features:

  • Sleek Gunmetal Finish with Premium Cushioning
The bench features a robust gunmetal frame and anti-slip padded cushions that offer both comfort and grip. Its clean, commercial look complements professional and home gym environments alike.

  • Fully Adjustable FID Bench for Total Versatility
Easily switch between Flat, Incline, and Decline (FID) positions for bench presses, rows, sit-ups, and shoulder work. Supports upright, incline, and decline training with smooth, secure transitions.

  • Heavy-Duty Commercial Build – 1300lbs Load Capacity
Built to handle serious strength training, this bench supports up to 1300lbs. Its tri-leg base ensures maximum ground contact and rock-solid stability during heavy lifts.

  • Compact Footprint for Any Gym Setup
Measuring 121cm (L) x 74cm (W) x 45cm (H), it fits seamlessly into home gyms, personal training studios, and commercial weight rooms without sacrificing space or performance.

  • Ergonomic Comfort & Long-Term Durability
Nonslip cushions are designed for support and comfort through long sets. Reinforced welds and thick padding ensure this bench performs reliably under daily heavy-duty use.
